Easy Halloween Craft and Giveaway

We have got an easy craft for you to make, and it looks cute too!  All you need is some paint, glitter, and a clay pot.

Combine some black paint with glitter (about 1/4 teaspoon).  Using a clay pot,  paint the pot black.  We recommend adding a tiny bit of orange glitter to get a little sparkle effect.  Once that has dried, paint on a fun Fall decoration like a pumpkin.

We have had this little treat jar for YEARS!  It is one of our favorite Halloween items.  The great news, it is easy!

I like to keep things simple when decorating for holidays. A bowl of whatever fruits and vegetables are in season…along with flowers/foliage. I like to display the kids’ crafts. I also like to have the smells of the season—a crockpot simmering spicy smells for Fall.

**I apologize if this is a duplicate. A momentary computer freak-out and I can’t see whether my firs comment posted

My best tip for decorating this holiday season is Decorating with Candy. For Halloween, I like to place bowls randomly around filled with Halloween candy and for Christmas, I like to hang candy canes everywhere and fill bowls with Christmas colored candies.

My only decorating tip would be to keep it simple. I find if I try things that are more complex I get frustrated and either don’t finish or try to hurry and nothing comes out the way it should.

No particular hints for decorating for the seasons, but it is good to always decorate for the seasons. Decorating sets the mood for the Holiday. My kids and now my grandkids have always loved the fact that I decorate!

I like to decorate with uncarved pumpkins because they transition easily from Halloween to Fall. Also, lots of copper accents because it feels so warm and cozy.
