Spring Break Adventures in the Mitsubshi Outlander 2016

Spring Break is upon us, and the great news is that the weather is cooperating with Atlanta area Spring Breakers!  There are so many great places to take the family in the area for memory making.  Why not take them in a car that allows for  comfort all while being sporty!  This week we will be checking out the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander GT S-AWC.   With lots of room to haul the family around to traveling through the winding roads of the North Georgia Mountains, this  Crossover SUV style ride is going to be perfect for our Spring Break 2k16 adventures!

Our week includes traveling with the kids in the comfort of the Mitsubishi Outlander to Medieval Times for in Lawrenceville for the Junior Knight Training at Medieval Times. Kids between the ages of 4-12 will have the opportunity to get down in the sand before the show and train with the knights.  At the end of the training, they will all be knighted by the king!  Kids and students are just $29.95 and adults are $36.95, and Junior Knight Training is free with a paid admission to the show. (Offer codeSBWEB16)

The great news about us traveling from the southside to Lawrenceville is that we will be riding in comfort and style.  Not to forget, the power behind the Mitsubishi as we navigate our way through the often chaotic Atlanta traffic!

Then my husband and I are off for a quiet vacation in the North Georgia Mountains.  We will be staying at a cabin located off the Toccoa River for a few days.  We will be participating in Blue Ridge Mountain Food Tour’s Fabulous Foodie Tour.  Each tour lasts between 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours and stops  at 5-6 restaurants to sample offerings on their menu.  You will have to follow our adventures this Wednesday on our social media outlets!

A trip to Blue Ridge would not be complete without stopping at a popular destination for day-hikers, the Benton MacKaye Trail to make our journey down the Toccoa River Canoe Trail where there is a beautiful swinging bridge overlooking the pristine waters the Toccoa River. This 270 foot long bridge is the longest swinging bridge east of the Mississippi River!

Our Spring Break will end with us catching our all time favorite Atlanta chef, Alton Brown, take the stage at the majestic Fox Theater in Atlanta!

All of these adventures are going to be so much more fun thanks to the Mitsubishi and the ECO Mode switch  that will help us save on fuel!

Check out the features of vehicle below and follow us on our social media outlets to experience the Mitsubishi Outlander as we test drive it.

” We are looking forward to using the Lane Departure Warning (LDW) system that provides drivers with an audible alert” – that’s so cool, I didn’t even know that existed! I LOVE Alton Brown! So jealous!

This looks like a great car, I really want something like this! We only have one child but our car never seems big enough plus we are wanting a second baby so the bigger the better but it needs to be affordable.
