I just LOVE the Fall. There are so many options that are available for family fun.
Here is a list of some ideas for Fall Fun Y’all!
Every October the Garden is stuffed with nearly 100 scarecrows handcrafted by businesses, individuals, schools and organizations. Come enjoy another season of fall family fun. My family and I had the chance to check this out last year! Very cool!
Celebrate the harvest season with a selection of seasonal brews and live music. Bring a flashlight to explore Scarecrows in the Garden. On Thursday, October 29 come and cheer on the slicing and dicing as contestants carve the most impressive gourd. Local chefs and designers square off and put their pumpkin-carving prowess to the test during Fest-of-Ale. The participants have 25 minutes to carve an award-winning masterpiece out of a giant pumpkin and audience applause declares the winner. May the most ghoulish gourd win!
Bring young goblins dressed in their Halloween best to show off on the Goblin Runway, participate in fall-themed crafts, listen to stories, ride a pony or hop on board the Ride-on-Train!
Battina the Friendly Witch will tell stories at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Day Hall. Show off your costume on the runway at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m.
