Braves Home Run Readers Summer Reading Program 2015


The Atlanta Braves, Georgia Public Library Service and SUBWAY® Restaurants are teaming up for the 2015 Atlanta Braves Summer Reading Program, Home Run Readers!

This educational outreach promotes literacy, an important skill necessary in a student’s educational development, and encourages students to build a love for reading by continuing to advance their reading skills during the summer months.

Home Run Readers presented by SUBWAY Restaurants rewards students with a free Braves ticket and a SUBWAY Restaurants Fresh Fit for Kids Meal for reading books and completing an online activity.



Open to Georgia students in grades K-12.

Read one (1) book on sports or sportsmanship. Click here for suggested titles. Visit your local Georgia public library for additional title suggestions.

Register for the Home Run Readers program and complete the grade appropriate online reading activity.

Print your Home Run Readers certificate and take it to your local library to receive an offer code to be redeemed online at

One (1) Braves game ticket is rewarded per student. (Tickets can be printed or mailed.)

One (1) SUBWAY Restaurants Fresh Fit for Kids Meal voucher is rewarded per student that can be used at participating locations throughout Georgia. Contact your local SUBWAY Restaurant for details prior to redemption.

    My kids love summer reading programs, our local library has one yearly that they love to be apart of. Awesome things to get the kids into, while on summer break.
