Game Day Ideas

0ap3000000463231-300x169

Super Bowl Sunday is almost here!  Whether you are a fan of the teams this year or not, on February 1 Sunday night television should be fun to watch.  One thing is for sure, not everyone will be glued to the sets and many of those are children.  What is a parent to do to keep their kids engaged so mom and/or dad can enjoy the big game?

Here are some fun ideas:

Football Find It:  A game like hide and seek   Find a small football object and hide around the house.  Begin with the smallest child first, let them hide.  Whoever finds it next gets to hide the football.

Football Bingo:  Use candy or peanuts as the markers for a fun game of Bingo!

Want some more ideas?  Please check out my blog post featured on Atlanta Area Moms Blog!  I have included alot of great ideas for your family on SUper Bowl night!

You can even check out my Game Day Pinterest Board for fun food ideas!

Laundry has got to be one of the most dreaded chores in my household. If the clothes and linens could magically be folded and put away, then maybe it can be less dreaded?  Despite my extreme dislike of doing laundry, I have to say Purex’s newest technology has made what is unbearable chore for me less unbearable!  If you are a Purex user like my family is then you already know how wonderful this brand is!  It cleans well and comes in a variety of scents.

New Purex PowerShot detergent simplifies the laundry routine by taking the guesswork out of the measuring.  Purex PowerShot is the only bottle that automatically dispenses the right amount of super concentrated formula with 50% more stain fighting power in every drop!  Just how does that work?  Just open the cap, flip the bottle upside down to deliver one super concentrated dose of detergent.  Flip the bottle back upright, and you are done!  The PowerShot engine automatically refills and is ready for the next dose.

My Review:

One of my New Years resolutions was to weigh less.  With so many options available, it is hard to choose just one.  Truth is I kind of wish I could take a little of this and a little of that!  When I was presented with the opportunity to try SLIMQUICK Pure Extra Strength Gummies, I jumped at the chance!  As with most weight loss programs, you will need to follow a strict diet and commit to exercising.    This program asks that you eat 1,350 calories a day.  This is doable but it does require planning!

So, what did I think?  For 30 days I stuck pretty close to the 1,350 calories a day, took my gummies with meals, and engaged in some form of exercising (mainly walking).  Overall, I have lost 7 pounds in 30 days.  That is roughly 2 pounds a week.

I tried the Mixed Berries flavor of the gummies.  The nice thing about these gummies is that do not taste bad and they are easy to swallow! There is a slight after taste but it is nothing bad.  It reminded me of a vitamin taste.  In addition, when taking with meals I did feel like I did not eat as much as I would normally.

So, would I recommend these?  The answer is YES!  It is an easy plan to follow!  The key is to follow all parts of the plan!  If you expect to take the pill and not combine it with exercising and dieting, it will not work!  Losing weight is not about taking a pill to lose the weight, it is about changing your lifestyle.  It took me way too many years to learn that!

The nice thing about Slimquick is that they are providing their users with a tool to help assist them in their weightloss journey!  Join their community to gain support for your weightloss journey!
